Linda, to me you are the best,
coming into my life when it was a mess.
Love hit me hard,
like a shot to the heart.
You was a prayer answered for me,
it was a miracle to see.
You was the half that had been missing,
Not knowing that soon our souls would be forever kissing.
Now, you went before I did,
leaving me lonely for all to see.
Now, you are my soul mate,
you will always have the key to my heart's gate.
Now, you was God's gift to me,
as we was making awesome memories.
Now, 48 years was a long time,
you will live forever in my mind.
I hated to say good-bye,
but I see you each time I look into the sky.
You are angel sent from above,
sent with all of God's love.
